On tap at Dewey Beer Co, DE. One of my favorite destinations in the DelMarVa area.
Pours a murky yellow color as per the NE/Hazy IPA style. A minimal head quickly dissipates.
The nose opens with an inviting citrusy aroma redolent of freshly squeezed orange juice. There are also notes of tropical and pitted fruit; I pick up peach and guava. I also detect aromas of oats and light toast.
Juicy taste supported by creamy oats as per the style. Yet, the dry finish and herbal hops keep it in check and prevent it from getting too sweet. Flavors of orange, tangerine, grapefruit rind, peach and guava in the finish. Moderate pine and spice throughout, with a gentle bitterness and a neutral dry malt backbone.
Medium bodied, creamy yet with some crispness provided by the carbonation. Dry finish with some resiny linger.
I liked the evolution of this drink and how it opened sweet and fruity and gradually became dry and spicy. A pleasure to drink this fine NEIPA.

O - great hop profile, and the hop burn makes me happy.
