Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Deep amber, somewhat murky colored mixing brown and orange colors together but nothing turbid. Slightly slurry with a creamy three finger head, nothing large either. Minimal retention, some good sticky lace occasionally also.
Really dig this hop profile on the nose. Sweet and perfume like aroma, mixing citrus zest and tropical mango papaya notes even more so with more exploring. There's an interesting earthy quality to this, nearly dank but doesn't quite get there. Real fun hop profile to explore here.
Palate flirts with much fanfare and surprises. Big touching hits of spicy sweetness interestingly on first sip. Earth and noble clove spice punch with mixing tropical fruit and even some sweet caramel tones. Earthy finish, more of an herbal hop presence too. Juiced up fruit of orange and mango with a big herbal earthy kick all over. Hits with even a bit of controlled boozy punch.
Real fun IPA, definitely got that booze kick, but it's one that pushes the right buttons.
