Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours pitch black with a small light brown head. Smells of maple syrup, a little coffee. Tastes of coffee, maple syrup, and pepper spice. Beer is full bodied, yet somewhat easy drinking. Overall, a very good beer.

EBF Last Saturday Rich chocolate color with a thin tan head. Solid spice on the nose and in the flavor with hints of breakfast pastry to counter. Interesting beer and nice to sip on .
