Fruit smoothie beer with tropical flavors. Tastes just like how suntan lotion smells.

Pulpy, virtually no head. Big coconut and pineapple aroma. I think I like the concept more than the beer, which is still fairly tasty with just the right degree of tartness.

6 oz draft pour at Lures Bar & Grille. Yes, it actually smells like suntan lotion - but not in a bad way. Tons of tropical fruit and a bit of tartness. Maybe a hint of tropical flowers, too. Surprisingly tasty.

Can pour into a pint glass.
Murky yellow orange appearance with a muted head. Thought this would be weird, flavored, and overly sweet for some reason, but ended up liking it. Pineapple, coconut, apricot, and cream. Full body, creamy, crisp.

Poured from the can into a nonic(k) pint glass. Stored upside-down as insisted.
Fleeting and fizzy head, so much that I can't even remember what color it was, probably a light khaki is accurate and fair to say. Barely a pencil thin collar if that leaves a hint of what transpired by a soda popping dissolve. Slightly turbid body and a peach dull orange color leave the drinker pondering what is to be coming.
The nose is straight up hysterical and fun. Giant reams and aromas of coconut spill like crazy. I am transported to the beach and literally feeling like I am smelling suntan lotion. Even looking at the container, my brain is going into hyperdrive. Still, grounding myself, there is still a slight touch of orange and even a bit of pineapple here, which makes for a ridiculous sensing treat. Low acidity and no hint of sugar either. Very impressive.
A real big surprise on the palate. A good fruity burst of orange and pineapple. Hits with excellent fruity punch with limited sugars, and light acidity. There's a great thickness to this and dense malt backbone that is just making the flavors shine, nearly creamy as well. Coconut flavor is explosive and makes for an excellent combination, with even sensations of thick pulp like orange.
Gimmicky? Oh hell yeah, but it works and makes for a fantastic drinking experience. They put suntan lotion in a bottle to drink, this is just brilliant.
