Not a huge fan of the Dewey IPAs as they have come off too sweet/juicy for me. But the mouteka balances it out well and it does have a little hop nibble to it. Best ipa I’ve had from DBC.

Pours a turbid yellow color. An aggressive pour yields large moussy head that retains well for a couple of minutes. There are broken rings of lacing throughout.
The nose opens with mild fruity hops notes. As the hops aromas intensify, they evoke notes of passion fruit, peach, nectarine, kiwi, lemon and lime. Similarly, herbaceous and leafy green aromas develop, evoking dank pine and grass that is peppery and pungent.
Opens up quite juicy and sweet with the flavors particularly aligning with the stone fruit aroma, all supported by biscuity malt. In addition, there is a touch of grapefruit and orange flavors, that compliment the peach and passion fruit flavors. Yet, a really nice balance begins to develop as the palate dries up and the herbal hops evoke flavors of pine and peppery grass. In addition, an easy going but firm bitterness opens up and benefits the overall flavor.
Medium bodied with a semi crisp mouthfeel. The carbonation is moderate and the finish is dry.
I like this hazy IPA that opens like a juicy NEIPA but then grows into its own as the flavors balance out.
