From the can it pours a hazy orange color with a large frothy and well retaining head.
Pleasant aroma of candied fruit and herbal hops. Notes of tangerine, orange and lime impart citrusy aromas. Aromas of stone fruit and tropical fruit include peach, pineapple and mango. The herbal aromas evoke grassy and peppery notes.
Juicy with a candied fruit sweetness balanced with a touch of bitterness in the finish. Medium full bodied with a frothy mouthfeel and a jammy marmalade and doughy sticky malt consistency. The carbonation is moderate. Flavors of orange cream soda, tangerine, creamy oats, honey , tropical notes of mango and pineapple, and stone fruit flavors of peach. There is a mild alcohol spice throughout. There was less herbal presence in the taste than there was in the aroma. (This is my only qualm)
Nice use of a single hop, as I enjoyed the flavors of the Samba hop; of which I’m not too familiar with.
