Pours a clear amber color appropriate for the style. A modest head dissipates and yields a ring of lacing.
The aroma is mostly malt forward. There are notes of toasted, biscuity and caramel malts.
Opens sweet with clean and crisp notes of biscuit and caramel. There is a gentle touch of both fruity and earthy hops spices that also provide a kiss of bitterness. Well balanced overall with appropriate hops levels and a malt backbone that is slightly dry and not too sweet. The finish is crisp and dry.
Medium bodied with a mostly crisp mouthfeel that is also somewhat smooth. The carbonation is moderate.
Good Oktoberfest overall as it adheres to the style. Tasty too.
