On tap at Dewey Beer Co, Dewey Beach, DE.
Pours a thick and frothy cranberry color that looks more like a smoothie, while the thick head and lacing looks like a slushie.
Fruity aromas of blueberry and cherry, while notes of lemon add a citrusy brightness and tartness. Sweet dessert like aromas are reflected by the use of marshmallow.
More fruity than tart with flavors of blueberry, cherry, lemon merengue pie and fluffy marshmallow. There is a very light lemon tartness in the finish. Hard to decipher the base grains with all the adjuncts.
Medium bodied and so frothy that it drinks like a slushie. The carbonation is moderate.
Paired well with an ice cream sundae. Not particularly sour, instead, it’s more like a dessert beer with interesting adjunct flavors and with just a touch of tartness.
