Dewey Beer Co. "Secret Machine - Baked Alaska: Pistachio, Chocolate, Raspberry, Vanilla"
16 fl. oz. can without production codes or freshness dating
$6.99 @ Total Wine & More, Claymont, DE
Look: It's a muddy kind of golden-amber color beneath a short head of white that drops immediatey and leaves no lacing behind.
Smell: Fruity with raspberry, minerals, dried flowers, and a hint of cocoa powder and vanilla.
Taste: Tart, but also lightly sweet, and with cocoa powder followed by raspberry. It's not bitter at all. Acidic, dry, and fruity finish.
Feel: Medium bodied and smooth with a moderate, fine-bubbled carbonation.
Overall: Pleasant, easy to drink, and refreshing but not nearly as complex as is suggested.
