6 oz draft pour at Lures Bar & Grille in Crownsville, MD. Pours a dirty light reddish brown color. Aroma and flavor feature tart pie cherries, graham cracker crust, pie spices, vanilla, and light bitterness. Overall it's fairly tasty and true to its stated flavor profile, but not the best Secret Machine IMO.

Notes via stream of consciousness: A murky brown body with a pinkish sheen is capped by a short head of ... ? ... it's already gone so I don't know. That's OK as sour beers tend to lose their head quickly but it's overall not a very attractive pint of beer. The aroma is sweet with almonds and a generic fruitiness. The flavor is tart with similar notes. I'm not sure that I clearly get cherry but knowing that there's cherry in it makes it easy to believe it's there, as does the almond note. It's bready, grainy, and sweetly malty, and against the tart and fruit and it works quite well. Some cherry does come out clearly in the finish. There's no bitterness that I can find although there must be some there. In the mouth it's medium bodied and smooth with a very fine-bubbled, moderate carbonation. All in all it delivers exactly what's expected.
