All the lights and sounds bask of the notes of ripe grapefruits and pine resin with the quartet of Riwaka, Strata, Galaxy & Vic Secret Hops.

Can from Hickman’s in Ocean View, DE. Pours a murky yellow gold with a bit of sediment, has a finger of creamy white head that sticks around, excellent lacing; smell is dank citrus, grapefruit rind, orange zest, pine resin, hints of musty white grape, caramel, and yellow cake; taste follows with zesty grapefruit/orange juice, citrus zest, pine resin, hints of marshmallow and yellow cake; feel is full bodied, creamy carbonation, dry finish. A juicy, citrusy, piney, full bodied treat.

Undated can into pint glass. Cautionary note: I turned the can upside down in a vain attemt to find a date and was rewarded with a glassful of particulate matter that resembled those snow globes. Other than that, it pours a murky dark honey-gold color with a persistent off-white head. Great lacing! Initial impression is grapefruit, pine, and a touch of caramel. Mouthfeel is soft, smooth and sticky. Finish fades to a slightly sweet resinous citrus. Overall, I struggled with assigning this to a style. The can says IPA. It feels like a NEIPA. But it drinks like a DIPA. Whatever - I thought it was pretty good!
