Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Very opaque and nearly turbid bodied, but manages a good yellow dark amber glow and shine. Noticeable white fine carbonation reaches up to a big bright white, and thick forming three finger head. Thin bubbled, but lots of staying power making for classic IPA looks, if a bit on the muddy side.
Aroma is very hop centric, and filled with a real tropical pineapple sensing blast. Hints spiced green herbs, like a dried sweet sage leaf mixing in for a nice contrasting mix. Has some earthy hints of dirt and soil also it seems like.
Very nice controlled iPA. Sweet touches at first but really nicely balanced through an excellent creamy mouthfeel. Warm sensing heat of pineapple to mango tropical juicy flavors. Good finishing sweetness, with that creamy touch manages some hinting vanilla and ice cream like sugars that go so great in addition to the fruity tropics.
This is a fairly straightforward NEIPA, but just gets a basic flavor in real nicely and superbly without going overboard. The sweetness also while very noticeable isn't a giant sugar rush, which is a nice touch as well.
