Poured into a wide mouth, grip shaped goblet: presents a murky with heavy sediment, color is gold, head is off white with frothy mixed bubble head that presents nearly two fingers thick and dissipates to solid top with lacing on the glass sides.

Smell is mixed and muddled, mostly pith and light mixed citrus, some malt sweetness but limited depth.

Taste is similar with pithy flavor, mixed citrus, mixed malt with limited flavor but subtle biscuit; odd off note that presents at first and then with some added warmth that presents as a hard spice or odd earthy bit.

Mouthfeel is low carbonation, moderate sweetness lower bitterness.

Overall an odd, maybe disappointing HIPA - first the heavy sediment in the pour, then limited aroma/flavor depth, and the odd flavor note.

Nice taste, not dry on the back-end, will lite you up.
