A hair above average WCDIPA as the drinking feel is lush with plenty of body, however the entire product doesn't necessarily come together as anticipated. A brown sugary malt flavor overrides most everything, yet this beer still keeps its head above water with hop majesty. Namely piney and earthy/herbal hop stylings. Carbonation creates fluffiness, not from oats but from the inherit brewing processes. This beer basically fails the "true to style" categorization, but when taken on its own merit, Guide Book has plenty of winning moments, albeit in a slight avant garde fashion
