Bought at ALDI Plattsburgh NY for 7.99 a 6er. Well: this is a nice cheap Pale Ale with close to no hops and a much too mighty malt backbone. There is no India in it at all but: The price is right ;)

12 oz. Bottle, date unk. Decent frothy head with good retention. Amber/ copper appearance. Smell is faint, nothing upsetting. Taste is decent, better than I expected, not a hop bomb, but there in the just right amount. Feel has mild carbonation, aftertaste is not bad, but neither is it rewarding. Overall, a pleasant surprise, much better than I expected. In a pinch for dough, this is the way to go. Funny, can’t remember the last time I had a beer with a twist off cap.

I’m new to Aldi and I have been quite happy with their products. I’m from the west coast and new to NY and I was pretty bummed about Trader Joe’s not having wine out here. A friend recommended Aldi and I saw this beer there. For the price this beer is incredible. Kinda low carbonation but I like that. Good American IPA that doesn’t try to overpower you with hops. Very drinkable, it’s my new regular beer that I keep in the fridge. Sometimes I mix it up but it’s a great chaser for bourbon.

Aldi purchase. Twist off cap, poured into a Teku.

Really nice looking body. Orangey-bronzish body with moderate carbonation and a lingering head. The nose is malt dominated, quite biscuity. Not getting a lot of hops. Has a bit of a medicinal bite to it. But you do get some citrus rind and berries - a very classic American IPA taste profile. Finishes with a pleasant hop bitterness.

It's cheap and it's decent.

While this was a cost saving buy initially at an Aldi, I have found this to be a strong IPA contender in the ranks of others far more expensive and well known. It is full bodied, hoppy, aromatic, with a good deep color and lasting head of foam, everything I expect from a good IPA. I go back to it again and again.

L: Dark orange, thick pillowy off white head, good lacing
S: Piney hops, caramel
T: Pine bitterness, balance of sweet malts, caramel.
F: Heavy mouthfeel, velvety carbonation
O: A quality IPA at a really reasonable price. The quality really surprised me.

To sum it up quite nicely, you get a hell of a beer for your money and it is toe to toe with the big boys…I think better than most!!!

Pours a fat creamy white head and settles to a nice thin lace.

Taste: Very malty, perfect carbonation, bitter in the back, stone fruits galore, almost champagne quality mouthfeel, honey, peaches and kiwi in tap.

Mouthfeel is gorgeous, has a champagne quality, smooth to drink, pops on the tongue.

Smell of fresh smashed grapes (white) and hints of kiwi fruit!!!

Appearance is hazy with thick chucks of yeast, and has a good full thick bodied look

I love this beer!

Pours light golden color with light head.
Strong orange citrus notes, possibly banana or some other fruit notes.
Not the best tasting beer, but for $1.17 a bottle at Aldi, this is a not bad IPA.
Somewhat medium thickness in the mouth, and easy drinking with food.

Overall just an average IPA.

I bought this at Aldi for $7.99. It is better than expected, well worth a try for the price.

Wild Range has a medium, off-white head and a semi-transparent, orange appearance, with bubbles and some lacing. The aroma is of piney hop resins and white bread crust. The flavor is similar, with strong bitterness. Wild Range has a medium body and a mostly-dry finish.

Excellent beer with balanced hops taste with 7% abv, not that alcohol bitterness like I found in 90 minutes, Dogfish 9% alcohol (I had to mix it with lager to make it bearable as alcohol hits your brain, I am 140 lbs), at Aldi for $7.99, I had to buy Nomad hazy IPA, it's light body not happy at all at the same price, poor substitute for Wild Range.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Date code makes no sense (A133 12 09:45) Flat appearance, not much lacing or foam at all. Smell and taste both remind of Bell's Two Hearted, definitely has Centennial among the hops profile.

I'm going to look for it at Aldi today and see if a fresher sample changes my opinion. It hit the spot on a muggy May evening in central Florida.

Might update this post in a day or so.
