First beer review here after a long time, just got on to see what the style was and no surprise, the brew is being rated by reviewers who hold everything against double Oaked milkshake IPAs. Here to give it the props it deserves…
The beer that came to mind was Anchor Steam, this has to be its clone.
Nice copper color and clear as glass.
Head is a little wispy for my taste, dissipates quickly, but again, about how I remember Anchor Steam.
Light gram-cracker nose, with crisp taste that has more going on than you’d assume, given the tame smell.
Make no mistake, this is nothing that will blow your mind, but a great middle of the road beer you can throw your BMC drinking buddy when your watching football or let your beer snob bestie insult for it’s too tame palatability. For $8 and something that was probably contract brewed by a no name brewery, it’s solid beer that does the truck.

Great look to it and a beautiful color. Smell is neither good nor bad. More metallic than I prefer, but not off-putting. The taste is smooth and incredibly pleasant. Definitely a strong honey taste and malt flavor. Aftertaste is sweet grains and leaves me wanting more.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a chilled shaker pint. Nice deep golden color with about 1 finger worth of head. Nothing distinctive on the nose. Taste is crisp, clean, sweet malt with a slight hop bitterness. Good carbonation. This is by far the best beer I have sampled from Aldi's. Considering the price ($6.49 for a sixpack), I am a pleased consumer. I will buy again and recommend without hesitation.

Picked up a six of this at Aldis. Let's give a whirl as it is appropriately named for the 4th weekend. Popping the top I get a waft of light toasted malt notes and some brown sugar. Pours into my SAPP to a slightly brown golden colour with a light tan head. On the taste this brew has a good mouthfeel up front with some hoppy bite but quickly transitions to a balanced flavor with a slightly sweet finish. A good drinker and at the pricepoint can't be beat. I will imbibe again.

A lot of beers get to my stomach lately but this was pretty good for the $6.99 for the pack. Better than expected. Good relaxing beer. Although not the highest quality.
