You’ve gone from shrubland to woodland to highland. When you stop to sip on a Chief Peak, the piney hops are first to arrive. The tropical tones of passion fruit, orange, and gooseberry aren’t far behind. Look out on the valley and trace the contours of the mountain. Breathe in the thinning air, wipe the sweat from your brow, and take another well-earned sip.

First beer from this brewery. 19.2oz can for around $4 dated “PKG 12/01/25”. Copper orange pour with a proper head. This is a nice surprise. Super smooth, plenty of tropical hops and bready malt to balance it out, yet dank enough to stay WC. Would love to try it on tap. Tasty stuff!

Smells incredible- lots of tropical fruit with some pine and berry pie. Tastes mostly hoppy and citrusy at first- pine, thistle, grapefruit, lemon, toasty malt. The tropical fruit and berry arrive midstream and briefly linger on the aftertaste. Passion fruit, pineapple, mango, and sweet blueberry and blackberry. The fruity aftertaste is somewhat light, making it ultra-refreshing. Delightful.

Just enough effervescence to make it bite. Great combination of pine and malt. Hops are evident but don’t linger too long on the pallet. Really good beer and worthy of its outstanding rating.

I got a tall boy can of this beer off the single shelf at a beer store in La quinta, California. It poured a clear copper with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had bold sweet ripe fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base and sweet ripe tropical fruit presence and a boozy finish. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

nice and clean IPA. not too bitter or dry and a little bit buttery. big mouth feel and the look is a nice translucent shade with a light amount of sediment. no head but a micro foam finish and lacing on the glass.

I keep buying it and liking it! I love it's color in a clear pint glass outside in the backyard. American IPA!

Pours a clear amber with fine-grained foam in the Chimay chalice. Aroma of peach and orange peel. Sudsy and pleasing mouthfeel. Piney but also fruity. Flavors of plum and peach along with the dankness. Moderate bitterness with the fruit lasting long into the aftertaste. Really not a bad hoppy brew. From the stovepipe can purchased at the neighborhood liquor store. Dated 05/02/24.

This was a very one dimensional IPA to me. Maybe I got a bad can? I'm really surprised to read both the can and these tasting notes. I definitely value some fruit/citrus in my IPAs. This is frankly too harsh. I'm really not enjoying this and I won't even finish it. Strangely, I can't even call it crisp - it's just muddy hops without definition but without interesting and notable flavors. Disappointed.
