650 ML bottle poured into an IPA glass, sent by a buddy of mine who works with the brewery. Big shout outs!
Look: Deep amber color with orange hues when held up to light. Super pretty beer. Thick foamy head that dissipates slowly, about a finger.
Smell: West coast smell, very piney. Dank with a slight alcohol burn at the end. Very apropos of the style.
Taste: Brings out all of the smells to the tongue. Pine with a tinge of alcohol. There isn't much malt presence, but there is a clean aftertaste that cascades with the hops. The level of hoppyness is pretty perfect, makes you know you're drinking a DIPA, but keeps it drinkable. The hops increase as the beer warms and the head dissipates. A heat is left in your stomach as you drink, which is nice. Pretty sticky mouthfeel and lots of resin. Lots of nice lacing as well.
Feel: Pretty thick and resiny, nice and chewy.
Overall: A really nice representation of the West Coast IPA style, with enough of a hop punch and alcohol presence to keep you interested. I recommend if you are feeling a bomber of something unique. Good stuff!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
