In town for work and had some time to kill before meeting some coworkers for dinner, so I decided to stop in here for a couple of beers. The brewery is in what used to be a train station, and shares space with a restaurant called White Duck Taco. There is a long bar with plenty of seating, and several tables as well. There is also a nice sized outdoor patio area with seating and fire pits. The place has lots of character!

There is a distinct lack of adequate parking though, when I was there the place was about half full and I still had a hard time finding a parking space.

I did not order food while I was there, so I can't comment on that, but the beer was pretty good. I have tried their Dunkel before and found it to be a great representation of the style, on this visit I tried the Gruit and the Scottish 80 Shilling, both were quite good.

Overall, the place was great and I look forward to visiting Yee Haw again next time I am in Johnson City!

Its a converted RR station building...so yeah, atmosphere abounds....This is a larger room, with high ceilings, that is attached to a taco joint, also a mess of outside tables for your dining pleasure...Good place for some tasty tacos, with a friend, for lunch/dinner and especially worthy with a group...cuz they have plenty of space! Friendly bartender, serving up a variety of decent brews, as it was a hot day in the summer, my crew ordered and enjoyed brews on the lighter and more refreshing side...lagers, dunkels and a tasty altbier were all consumed...crowd pleaser kinda place.

Yee Haw! hell yeah. I showed up at 11:30 am Saturday 10/26, and sat down at the taps for a wonderful chocolate stout. Excellent clean dry stout for brunch! Wonderful open space with leather couches, easy to find, great park nearby, with RR tracks, and open beautiful town with friendly folks. The YEEHAW Dunkel is top notch; clean chocolate malt lager, and to be blunt- every beer I tried was very excellent, and I was there to judge em. Very clean and true in each variety, a few Yeehaws are brewed in their Greenville, SC place. I loved the "EIGHTY" ale, a dark amber Scottish ale that is excellent . And the kickass VELVET CHARMER will blow you away with its smooth clarity and hi powered abv. Katie and the dude were both great at the bar, and White duck Taco looked and smelled awesome. Go out of your way to Johnson City, TN, and enjoy a YEE HAW time!

It was the most unwelcoming and unfriendly brewery I have ever been to. They call themselves "southern beer", the beer was middle of the road, but southern they were not, they have no southern hospitality. The first bartender was showing a customer a video of a hillbilly man and they both were making fun of him and laughing at the way he talked, the second bartender (with a typical hipster hair cut, earring and Swanson mustache) acted like he couldn't understand our "southern accent" and made me feel very awkward and unwelcome. I have been to and reviewed over a dozen breweries and have reviewed over a thousand beers on Beeradvocate.com, this is by far the worst experience I have had. I would like to talk to the owner, if you could pls contact me at 276-566-7606. I hope this isn't the way the brewery is ran all the time and maybe a one time thing.

Reclaimed train station in downtown area. Spacious taproom, bar seats 15 and plenty of tables inside and on the patio. Brewery shares space with taco joint - excellent tacos. 12 beers on tap, very much liked the 2 I tried. Friendly service... Great vibe. Fun place, does live music on Friday nights.

This place has the best ambiance of any micro brew I have ever visited. There is plenty of space with overstuffed couches to make for a relaxing visit and great place to enjoy a brew. Have not tried the food in the building, but really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere while sipping a great Dunkel.

Found this place by accident thru a friend so gave it a try. 6 beers on draught. Had the porter and IPA. Porter was very good IPA was also good but a bit hoppy bitter at 50ibu. Nice long bar plenty of seats all around it was a old rail station years ago.
Fire pit out front for the cool evenings.
Service was very good and friendly
