Over the years, I have seen what I understand to be the manager, Foster, be incredibly rude to staff and customers alike. He attacks negative reviews on google and blasts them all over social media. If a manager cannot contain an ounce of decorum over simple bad reviews, he lacks the self-control to run a business. It's also deplorable to ask his friends leave positive reviews in an attempt to stamp out the voices of people who share their concerns. Not to mention if he doesn't have the decency to be professional to customers and staff.
Research the Richard Britain case and see how toxic and dangerous this can be for a professional to attack people for bad reviews. It borders on harassment and abuse. Either this manager learns how to take criticism gracefully or the owner needs to find a more suitable replacement. This is a nice establishment with a lot of potential, it shouldn't allow all the negativity to go on.

Fairly large space in an old bus station. The beer is just okay. Their quest taps were pretty great though. The service was very slow for a Friday at 11am. The food was pretty good. Tasty pizzas.

Paducah Brew Werks is located in...I think....an old bus station....which is kinda cool......but yet stale. The beer is ok....the food was better....I had the special sausage plate. The gal waiting on me was very attentive and helpful. There were 8 own and several guest beers available. The food I had was good.

This was my first time visiting and I was really disappointed. For a brewery that has been open awhile their beer selection was pretty limited. The unfriendly waitress brought me the robust Porter, which was okay, and then brought my check without asking if I wanted another beer or anything else. After that we never saw her again and had to take the check to the bar to pay.
The place has a decent vibe but I'd like to see more beer and better service in the future if I return.

Food was decent enough, and our server was both amicable and knowledgable. There were six beers on tap, and though flights consisted only of the three regulars.

This very cool place has been open for less than one year. It's in the once forgotten downtown district of Paducah in the old Greyhound bus station. Quite a few of the remnants of the bus station remain which really adds to the vibe. Again, it's a really cool place. We visited in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday, thus, as to be expected, the place wasn't exactly abuzz, but it still emitted a good vibe. They also have a patio area, as well as an adjoining room with a stage. It would be a great place to enjoy some good music.
They have an expansive food menu for a brewery, and the food is delicious. Food service was good, too.
The bar service was better than good. The bartender (Luke) was knowledgable and helpful. One of the brewmasters even stopped us on the way out and asked us about our experience, and told us about some of their barrel aged beers to look forward to. They also have a full bar with only top shelf spirits, and it appeared that they also served wine.
Finally, the beers. They don't bottle or can, but they do fill growlers. They had six of their own beers on tap. They also had four guest brews, all of which were quality beers, including Green Flash. The other guest selections included things like a cider, which I appreciated since many don't love craft beer as much as I do. I really like when when breweries do their best to accommodate those who get dragged along with their craft-loving friends.
Their beers were: a golden ale, a pale ale, an IPA, an Irish red ale, a porter, and a nitro stout. We started with a flight ($9), and all were quality. Some I liked better than others, but I had no trouble enjoying all six of them. The Irish red and golden Amber have won a few awards. I'm a self proclaimed hop head, and I enjoyed the IPA, as well as the pale ale. The golden ale was very smooth, and one I would recommend for your non-craft friends that you drag with you to the brewery. The porter was my least favorite, but still enjoyable. My favorites were the nitro stout and the red. The nitro stout is listed as an exclusive, but the bar-keep said it has received rave reviews, so it might become a regular. I hope so! If I had to pick, the red was probably my favorite. Malty, a little spicey, and a little sweet. Oh, and the bourbon aged beers...it is Kentucky, so why not use some old bourbon barrels to age some beer?!? The brewmaster told us the first barrel (seems like it is their red ale in a Buffalo Trace barrel) would be tapped at the Kentucky Derby; sounds like a lot of fun!
I hope area restaurants will add their beers. They are worth it. If you're in the area, stop in and see the folks at PBW. It'll be worth your time.
