A sixteen ounce can of Lithology The Black (beer name handwritten on label) was taken from the refrigerator on a hot July 2020 night. I classed this as a black IPA (but maybe not?) The beer pours with minimal carbonation. The body is black and there is almost no head or lacing. There is a faint roasted malt aroma. The flavor is a little thin, mostly roasted malt with a bit of hop bitterness. Overall, a good choice on a summer evening.
