A lot darker than most Amber ales. Nice tan head. Nose is malt forward . Good malty flavor. Not too much sweetness. Nice hop bite on backend . Overall good beer

A very decent red ale - nice copperish coloration, a light hoppy smell blended with a distant malty sweetness. The whole things translates relatively well to the the taste, adding to the crisp mouthfeel. Overall, solid. One that I would look forward to moving forward.

Copperhead is a really nice drinkable amber. Beautiful color, a little nutty and spicy but good balance. You are aware of the hint of hoppyness but it doesn’t distract from the good amber ale experience. Very good on draught; haven’t tried bottle or can.

Very pleasant amber from Gate City out of Roswell, GA. Probably the most readily available amber in the metro area, which for me is important. It's a bit hoppier than Full Sail and Anderson Valley Boont, but not quite as dry as Highland Gaelic Ale. Recommended. I hope this style hangs on and thank Gate City for keeping it alive in our area.

Looks good. Pleasant aroma. Light to medium feel. Not as malty as I’d hoped for a red but overall a complex flavor with a small amount of hop at the end.

Nice copper color, nearly crystal clear, and a light tan head, nice nutty malt aromas, with some toffee as a bonus.
The nutty flavors are forward, with the toffee at the end of the taste, and a subtle hop note. A crushable amber for sure.

A tasty, accessible, nutty amber ale that satisfies. Recommended. Full review pending.
