Appearance: Clear, black with khaki color mousse-like head, good retention.
Aroma: Coffee, chocolate, slightly smoky.
Flavor & Aftertaste: Roasted malt and coffee. Moderate bitterness. Moderate to high sweetness, but not cloying.
Mouthfeel: Soft, creamy. Low carbonation. Long finish.
Overall: One of Gate City's best beers. It's soft and creamy with roasted malt and coffee notes. Seems sweet initially but finishes quite dry. Slight bitterness lingers into the finish. Well crafted.

Poured from the tap into a 20 OZ glass. The appearance is a dark chocolate brown with a small tan head. The aroma is light roasted malt and cocoa. The taste follows the nose.

12 oz can in Atlanta. 21 November 2017 canning date stamp on the bottom of the can.
This is a well-crafted but traditional baltic porter. Rich flavor and very smooth, full body with medium-light carbonation that seems just right. Chocolate, coffee and dark bread notes abound.
