12 ounce can - $2.49 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
02/27/19.
Appearance: Pours a golden-orange body with a slight haze about it. Scant, short-lived, white head.
Smell: Wheat malt, lightly toasted grain. Slightly sweet-scented accent of honey with a kiss of salt-sprinkled citrus and only a mild sniff of lacto.
Taste: Wheat, a little bite of toast and a bit of honeyish sweetness. Amongst the modest lactic quality is a faint, faintly candyish blood orange character with some far subtler lime. Sturdy background salinity. None of the flavors really quite pop, with the citrus quickly receding, leaving just a taste is a little sweet, a little salty and not all that much else.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium-light carbonation.
Overall: Eee. I'd like it tighter and brighter, let's be honest. Good salinity, though! I can't fault that salt.
