A crisp Bavarian classic with Vienna and Munich malts for a deep golden color, nutty undertones, and toasted malt flavors. Prost!

Malty and easy to drink. Just a bit of metallic aftertaste to bring the rating down a touch. But pretty good.

Look: Bright clear orange with a low-medium white head that has decent retention.
Smell: A fairly strong scent of sweet malt is present.
Taste: On the sweet side of malty and bready.
Feel: Low in the mouth with a clean finish.
Overall: Not the greatest Märzen out there but still a pleasant option.

Let’s get to the point like a dart hitting the bullseye. This beer is nutty. Maybe not dog shit Cracker Jack ‘nutty.” And no, not even that whack shit that you get at the ball park for $10 a bag. That said, it also sure as hell isn’t quality. No organic fair trade Whole Foods stuff here. This beer is Planters ‘nutty.’ And at this moment, that’s ok and enough for the Raul man.

Tried a single. Decent, but not up to some of its German competitors in the flavor department.

Shimmering clear amber with a short white head leaving an arm or two of skinny lace.
While leafy and nutty with a mild toast, the malt presents overall as semisweet, all within a really pleasantly frothy, fulfilling body.

Mostly clear amber pour with a cream cap. Caramel malts, toast, and nuts in the nose. Taste is very nutty with the toast, bread, caramel malts and hints of earth. Feel is bready and malty, decently crisp and medium bodied, best aspect of the beer easily.

Good, very easy drinking Oktoberfest beer. A bit on the lower end of the scale in terms of aroma & flavor but still pleasant. Good drinkability feel, maybe just on the sweeter side of the scale. Overall decent, but I'd probably rather have a terrific German märzen for relatively the same price.
