Actually a Red iPA. Collaboration with Knee Deep. Brewed for National IPA day 2016. Maybe a 'hopped UP'S Red Trolley thanks to Knee Deep.
On draft in Southern California.
Very dark red mahogany in color with off white head.
I'm never good with describing aromas but smells like an IPA. How's that for technical? ?
Taste is nicely Hoppy with some pine and citrus peel. Good solid balance with a nice carmely malt and not overbearing and quite an easy drinker. Very smooth on the finish.
Overall this could be a good go to. Not as a 'light and refreshing' but one with some substance.
