On nitro during happy hour, on to the beer:

It's opaque with hues of ruby red, and a creamy, but somewhat watery-looking white head on top. Slightly sweet plain oatmeal in the aroma, but is subtle in intensity. To taste, it is light in flavor initially, but gained some ground during its consumption. Oatmeal upfront, bittersweet chocolate echoes around the oatmeal base. Smooth and light in feel. Slightly roasty overall, but you feel the roastiness most as it lingers in the aftertaste.

Not a bad choice as the "10th tap" at Karl Strauss, or at least the style anyway. Recommended.

A black pour with a very creamy tan head produced with nitro that stays forever throughout the drink leaving very, VERY sticky lacing in it's wake.
Nose is all about rich coffee, dark chocolate, and milk chocolate.
Mouthfeel seems weak and thin for the style however it's not noticable with a meal.
Flavor does not disappoint. First rich dark roasted coffee that melds with dark chocolate and then sort of melts to milk chocolate. After taste is clean and drying.
Paired tonight with the chef's recommended Spice rubbed flat iron steak and aurula salad and it was PERFEDT.
