This was a pretty good beer. I have definitely had stronger ipas though.
Appearance- amber color, transparent
Smell- sweet, hops
Taste- grapefruit, hops
Mouthfeel- light to medium body, dry finish
Drinkability- I would drink it again. It's not too bad but I have had better.

On tap at the LA airport.
Pours a light amber with small carbonation rising. Slightly off-white creamy head. Not a bad start.
Aroma is grapefruit and light malts. Some sweetness in there.
Taste is dominated by hops. Grapefruit, sweetness and a slightly woody bitterness. Not much balance to this one.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied. Dry at the end. Cleansing.
Overall, a decent enough beer. Drinkable. More balance would have been an improvement.

On draft at Karl Strauss Universal City, 11/26/07.
Clear golden pour, small white head. Smell is hops - can't give more detail than that. Not especially pine, citrus or resin, just... hops. I put some up my nose trying desperately to get more hop aroma. Flavor is grapefruit and resin dominated with a touch of malt peeking through late in the taste. Finish is fairly clean, although a corn flavor appears at the tail end.
Pedestrian, at best.
