On draft at Karl Strauss Universal City, 11/26/07.
Almost black pour with dim ruby highlights. Creamy texture, very fine bubbles in head. Nitro tap?
No aroma to speak of.
Flavor has notes of roasted coffee, malt. Bitter finish seems due more to roasting of the malt than any hop profile.
Mouthfeel similar to water: oddly unaffected by the nitrogen.
Not terribly thrilling.
