I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the Karl Strauss Anaheim location. They bill this as an "Australian Pale Ale" with Mosaic and Galaxy hops.
Appearance: medium golden hue with minimal haze and a light effervescence. There's a rich creamy foam atop, with tons of staying power, and a thick lace on the glass.
Smell: lightly tropical, lightly grassy hop aroma. It's nice, but the volume could really be turned up.
Taste: a little sweetness and graininess are backed up with a grassy hop character and a relatively sharp bitterness. It feels to me like the hops are underutilized here.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and really quite good creaminess.
Overall: this beer feels like maybe it's not at its prime anymore. It doesn't deliver on the promise of topical goodness made by mosaic/galaxy.
