Pours a flat looking brown. Small tan head. The menu boasts of "raisins and currants" with a "breadiness." Smells like yeast to me.
Tastes... again, like a standard lager that's perhaps more yeasty than most. This is a dunkelweizen, but tastes nothing like any dunkelweizen I've had before. There's no dark fruit/raisin-y background, little to no malt sweetness of any type ... kind of a strange beer actually.
Mouthfeel is okay. Very forgettable.
