Handsome clear rich shade of amber with plenty of foam in the tall Peroni Lager glass. Hints of lime and roasted grain in the nose. A slight sweetness, then woody, leafy flavors of the hops, but fairly restrained. Hint of apple and rich bread with a tangy finish. Modest bitter twang in the aftertaste. More of the resiny taste lingers.
This is a collaboration with Fort Point out of Frisco. Overall a pleasant beer to gulp, and another well-crafted brew in the lighter side that Karl Strauss does well. From the 16 oz can purchased from Bine & Vine.
