On tap at Churchill's in a snifter.
A: Very dark brown with a creamy beige head, okay retention, and scattered lacing.
S: Moderately roasted malt with a little coffee and a dash of caramel. Clean, with no fruit aromatics, and a low noble hop bouquet.
T: Caramel, a little coffee, and roasted malt. No alcohol and a low level of bitterness. Very clean, with some unsweetened chocolate. Slightly spicy in the finish, which is surprising.
M: Lower medium in body with upper moderate carbonation. Creamy and dry mouthfeel.
Overall: A pretty decent Schwarzbier.
