looks like this beer name has represented different styles at different times, kolsch, blonde, but it was presented to me as a pils where i had it on tap, a somewhat sweeter and maltier one, more american than european in many ways, but light enough to be refreshing on a really hot day, and a simple enough beer to be a mass appeal offering, just the second beer i think ive had from these guys over the years. this is blonde in appearance, nice and clear, and with a frothy almost inch of white foam from the tap. pils malt is evident in aroma and flavor, that is the core of this, quite light with a little middle sweetness, not quite cheap or adjuncty but not that full bready earthy decocted character i like in the best of these, its much more minimal than that, and the hops seem bright and fresh, perhaps a little different than what is common in this style space, citrus to me, even white grape character from the hops before it turns just a little bitter on the finish. very fresh smelling and tasting, good water chemistry, a little more from the grain as it warms, this is light but its longer than most, off dry and without much yeast character coming through, well hopped overall, nice carbonation, and i think it fits as an easy summer drinker, a bit more modern than expected with this hop profile, sunny and refreshing and repeatable.

Chill hazed pale gold with a thin white foam head leaving a few torn sheets of lace on the glass.

Taste is semisweet and largely consists of corn nut.
