Master brewer Karl Strauss earned the title “Godfather of Beer” after an iconic life-long brewing career that ignited the San Diego craft beer revolution in ’89. Fast-forward 35 glorious years to us and our good friends Societe Brewing Co. collaborating on a traditional Italian-style Pilsner that pays homage to the man that inspired generations of brewers that define craft to this day.
“The Godfather” is as symbolic as it is flavorful—a harmonious balance of earthy, floral, and fruity notes with a touch of bitterness, thanks to the use of Aramis and Saphir hops. “You’ll agree,” this brew was made to unite and inspire those who continue to live our legacy. Salut!
