I don't know where this one came from, but it showed up on Memorial Day at the Karl Strauss in La Jolla like a rare comet.

Brewery says this is an orange-flavored Pale Ale and that's the whole story. It's more of a faint orange peel flavor with a little sweet marmalade. The orange comes through mostly in the nose. Best feature is a great floral hoppy aroma along with the hint of oranges. There is some citrus peel bitterness along with the hops. Overall it's a little tart but quite quaffable. This would be a decent summer beer and it's not too strong.
