Nice IPA with a citrusy smell and an initial citrus taste, the finish has a last hit of bitterness that is a little more than I prefer. A good beer but I would steer towards some of the other IPAS they have.

Pours a mostly clear yellow golden color with white head. Citrus, grapefruit, other light fruits, pine, and some grassy notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with citrus and grass.

Poured 12oz bottle into tulip. A clear lighter orange color with a 1.5 finger white head. Thin ring with good amount of lacing coating the glass. Light hops of grass and citrus. Notes of grapefruit, orange, and hints of lemon. Malts are light with some honey and bread. Flavor is similar with citrus of grapefruit, orange, and a bit of lemon. A bit of malts to keep it from being too bitter. Light bodied, crisp and refreshing. A little dryness. Solid IPA that reminds me of a couple of TGs APAs.

Growler from the tap house.
Lemon, citrus, cracker malts, blueberry, grassy fade...moderate bitter linger.
Lighter bodied but appropriately bitter with a sticky hop presence. Oils hang on the palate.
Surprised by this...very pleasant. Looking forward to more from these guys. Welcome to the Madison area.

Draft at Hop Garden Tap Room.
Bright gold, sharp clarity, lasting head retention, lots of drippy lacing.
Woody aroma, slight lemony citrus, pale malt. Taste is similar, moderately bitter with a grapefruit peel bitterness. Light bodied with a slight slickness. Overall pretty good IPA from this new brewery.
