12 ounce can born in early June. Trivia; it's from Fitchburg, which I must pass through if I'm going west towards Iowa or south towards New Glarus. On to the beer:
Sandy blonde colored with haze for days and a rocky head which leaves a few strings of lacing around. A soft whack of juicy grapefruit demonstrates that there can still be some good coming out of IPA older than 60 days. The taste doesn't dominate or drown the palate with flavor however the flavor is modest and appealing. Juiced orange and grapefruit bits without any candied character found commonly in older hoppy beers confirms that #Haze has aged with a little grace. Finishes somewhat dry with a medium body and an enchantingly smooth feel.
I'd like to try a fresh sample and see how that compares. Perfectly reasonable choice as it stands.

I got a tall boy can of this beer off the single shelf from the Festival Store in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had tropical citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright semi sweet malt base with fresh pineapple and mango notes. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
