BAKFISH was once our after practice drinking hole from the first days it opened. We have had numerous events, meetings, and even birthdays here. On our last visit, we were told that our group was too loud as we sat outside under the covered patio (it was raining) and that if we didn’t quiet down, we would be asked to leave. The brewery did try to accommodate us, as we had called ahead to reserve some tables, but it was on the other side of the building, it’s uncovered, not well lit (light is busted) and again... it was raining. I realize they have many events happening, I was mostly frustrated because there was no winning. They should have just said they couldn’t accommodate us, or picked either inside or outside as exclusive trivia area. The dogs barking and music playing outside were easily louder than all 30 of us. I’m happy their game night is doing well, but unhappy in how we were treated, especially considering the employee on duty shouted so the whole patio could hear vs quietly explaining to our group lead the situation. Extremely humiliating and disrespectful.

We contacted the owner of BAKFISH on the night of the event; however, he has yet to reach out to our league owner to discuss and resolve the situation.

 

The Defying Gravity is probably the best 2IPA I've ever had. Worth going just for that! The staff is awesome and the atmosphere is laid back and chill. Definitely one of the areas hidden treasures.
