F-town is located in a neat section of Faribault. The building is small and was probably an old auto shop garage....there is patio seating and indoor bench seating... it's a neat little place. The quality of the beer was above average. The staff was fine....just not enough....only one person really working....so there was a line to get beer. There were 9 beers to choose from so certainly something for everyone.

I visited this brewery with business colleagues. They offer no food, so we ordered pizza from a nearby store. The brewery is small, really just a storefront with overhead doors. The beer selection was large, with a few lagers, a California common, a brown, IPA, and a peanut butter porter. I tried the peanut butter beer, which was well done and very interesting. Worth trying.

Summer feel is good with a large garage door that opens to an outdoor seating area. The road immediately outside is busy and can be loud at times. In the winter I'm not sure how this will feel. Seems like the space will be small and tight and possible rather cool. Cross that bridge then.
I think the beers are solid with a small range of styles for their everyday beers. Nothing exceptional but they will try to throw on one or two new taps every Friday, for example a rye apa and a smaller Am. stout.
This is a smaller community, that doesn't have a tourist base or nearby populations to make a go. I wish them well and I'm glad they are there.
