A - Dark brown body, transparent at the edges, opaque in the center. Light tan head, short but persistent. Lacing curtain, with small tight bubbles.
S - Mostly dark roast, chocolate and grassy hop notes.
T - Chocolate foremost, milk and dark notes mingled, with mild toasted bread and molasses, and a slight bitter coffee aspect in the finish.
M - Brisk and light on the tongue, with a bit of dryness on the finish to clear the palate.
O - A nicely crafted stout, with a strong chocolate core, bright bitter highlights, and easy drinkability.

Appearance: Near black, with a huge frothy head and little lace.
Aroma: Lovely dark chocolate. Exquisite!
Taste: Smooth cocoa and chocolate. Smooth-drinking, rich and superbly well-balanced. Lovely brew. Would gladly have another.

Had at Mother Bear’s Pizza, Bloomington, Indiana, on draft into tumbler.
This chocolate milk stout is a little roastier than expected, and finishes more on a cola than a chocolate note, but holds up well with wings and pizza.

Pours black with a finger of khaki head. Fair head retention and great lacing. Aroma is chocolate, roasted and toasted malts. Flavor profile is chocolate, and lots of it. Roasted and toasted malts accompany it. Mouth feel is medium-thick, and velvety smooth. Overall, smashing chocolate notes, with a good overall feel. Well done.
Served in a 12oz snifter. Draft.
