16 oz can from Michigan.
Appearance. Clear, dark black-brown body topped with a very good tan head.
Aroma. Roasted peanuts and dark bread.
The flavor has a prominent, but not overly strong, note of roasted peanuts. There are much more subtle hints of coffee, chocolate, spicy hops, and dark bread. It's a nicely harmonious mix, assuming you enjoy a good peanut butter stout.

Dark brown in color with minimal light penetration. There’s a fingernail of brown around the rim and covering nearly all of the top. Moderate lacing. The aroma is of faint peanut butter and dark malt. I’m tasting peanut butter and lightly bitter dark malt. The mouth is dry and crisp.

I am tried a pint of this beer off the tapper at The District Tap in downtown Indanapolis whilst there for a Expo. It poured an opaque dark with very little head that did not leave any lace. The scent had malt and bittering hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base with chocolate and peanut presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer.

Fresh on tap it has a deep roast peanut butter smell. Dry roasted peanut taste along with a surprising amount of lightly toasted malt, bready yeast, caramel, cocoa powder. Light bodied and defectively hollow. Overall pleasant juxtaposition of flavors and elements.

A: Dark reddish brown, nearly opaque, with a thick tan head
S: dark chocolate, peanuts, roasty
T: dark chocolate, roasted barley, peanut butter (although not as much as I'd like)
M: medium- full bodied, moderate carbonation
O: not the best peanut butter stout I've had but still very good.

on vacation in indy and deciding to peep the local goods, got this one on tap in a snifter. pours a deep brown with highlights that give it an almost melted chocolate appearance, w a sticky lil tan head thats leaving good bits of lace. the nose is full of sweet chocolate, peanut butter, bits of bitter hop and bread-y malts balance out the sweets a good bit. flavor profile is heavy on the peanut butter and sweet milk chocolate, with a slight bitterness up front that fades to plain ol peanut butter cup. fairly one note but its a solid one. medium bodied, midly carbonated and easy to drink. a fairly good offering that i'd snag from time to time if it was around me

16 oz can from Beer Snobs in Evansville IN.
Dogfish Head Nonic Pint.
No date.
Foams over in the glass and keeps a solid 5 inch head for awhile. The body is a shiny black with ruby highlights on the bottom.
Aroma is not what I'd call intense (according to the can), but there is an element of mild peanut butter biscuit. Beyond that it's charred and roasted malt.
Flavor is pleasant and is a mix of roasted malt, peanut butter biscuit, chocolate, and slight coffee. It's simply a well-balanced, full flavored stout. Not a ton of pb over here.
Feel is roasty, medium bodied, with busy carbonation and no alcohol heat. Some starchiness and smoothness.
Overall, a pretty good stout, though I'd have liked more peanut butter. It's just a solid drinker. I'd probably see if I could find it fresher if they sticker-date their 4 pack holders. It's not on the can.
Price paid : $3.19 / can
Would buy again : sure

Appearance: Black with ruby highlights.Thick head of tan suds everywhere, with a big web of lace.
Aroma: Salty peanut butter with sweet cocoa malts. Very good.
Taste: Sweet, with peanut butter notes and a tangy sweet-salty finish. Pretty solid and one of the better peanut butter beers I’ve ever had. Another well-done brew from the reliable Metazoa.

Beer pours nearly black with a tan head that slowly dissipates. Peanut Butter, toffee, and a little hops smell come out, mostly the PB is detected.
Taste is very balanced, mostly peanut butter with chocolate and toffee are detected. The taste is not overly sweet either. Feel is medium carbonation, even mouthful, and a nice peanut butter aftertaste. Beer is not sticky or dry, kinda refreshing.
I first heard about this beer at a local bar, and tried it since I like milk stout beers. This one has exceeded my expectations, it is very tasty and highly recommended.
