Canned on 10/5/2020. Poured into a pint glass. It pours a cloudy, rusty orange color with a thick creamy, light khaki colored cap and thick, soapy lacing. The nose is malty and fairly sweet with hop notes. There's little sweetness in the taste, however, it's hoppy and decidedly bitter. In fact, it may be the most bitter Red Ale I've ever had. I'm not tasting the malt and biscuit I'd expected. The ale is medium-bodied and appropriately carbonated, and at only 5.3% ABV it's readily drinkable. I like a bitter Red Ale but this one is missing the balance I'd hoped for.
