Looks and pours like a milkshake brew - it’s creamy grapefruit in color with lots of citrus , foamy head and huge lacing - nice tropical smell - very creamy feel - 8 abv with no taste of alcohol -
So if you like this style and lactose brews then I recommend it very much as I thoroughly enjoyed my 4 pack of 16 Oz pounders :)

Happy to acquire a 16 oz. can of this Imperial IPA in a recent trade. I had acquired a can of the Cypress Insane in the Grain Imperial IPA last year and had been very impressed by it so looked forward to sampling this one. Unfortunately, the comparison was not favorable. Impressive array of hops in this one but too much of a lactose feel and a strange off-taste. Not sure what the brewer was trying to present but it was quite different from what I had anticipated in an 8% ABV Imperial IPA. Sad to say, I lost interest in this product before finishing the can.

16 oz can. Pours muddy golden with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head. Aroma is of citrusy hops, bready malt, lactose and tropical fruit. Body is full and tangy. Taste is of spices, herbal hops, tropical fruit, bready malt and lactose. Finish is long and dry. There should be a limit on creativity.
