Poured from a 16 oz. can. Despite zero agitation this beer exploded out of the can, resulting in a hazy golden color with several inches of head and a mess on my leg. Smell is of peaches, berries. Taste is of melons, berries, light peaches, mild bitterness for the style. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a fairly good beer.

Pours hazy gold. Thick white head. Lots of lacing. Candied fruit - pineapple, strawberry, mango, all sorts of citrus, a little bit of pine, papaya, guava, berry, some alcohol. Taste is similar. Medium-light carbonation. Nice soft feel. Overall, an excellent DIPA.

Finger worth of frothy, well dimpled bright white foam, above average retention. Lacing starts out thick and broad but doesn’t have great stickiness. Standard opaque visuals of apricot purée, some carbonation visible. Lots of dankness and tar to the nose, really glues itself to the nostrils, tropical array of pineapple, mango, guava fruit scents, the florality and pine for the most part cloaked by the herbaceousness. Medium-bodied, very creamy in texture and not that dry. The herbal bite right-sized and balances out what might be a too sweet beer otherwise. Honey, pine sap, white and pink grapefruit pulp add to the nice contrast. The fruit less tropical here, the pineapple followed on by green apple, peach, melon notes. Cleans up nicely at the finish, not cloying nor heavy. Good plus drinkability for the ABV. Brewery website calls this an "Imperial New England IPA" but not a choice here at the moment, suspect things will get that granular soon enough. (Canned 11/8/19)
