Pours brown/black with a thick tan head. Aroma is roasted nuts and dark chocolate. Taste follows with pronounced roasted notes and mild chocolate. Feel is good, maybe a touch thin. Overall it's a decent brown ale and at 4.6%, easy to drink.

A: The beer is very dark brown in color and appears black when viewed from afar. It poured with a half finger high beige colored head that has good retention properties and never completely faded away.
S: Moderate aromas of nutty malts are present in the nose along with notes of coffee.
T: The taste has flavors of nutty malts along with notes of espresso and cocoa with slight hints of vanilla. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is a nice nut brown ale but I only got some hints of vanilla in the finish as the beer warmed up.
