Old Milwaukee Beer
The look of it : A finger of head that quickly goes away. Yellow golden color. Light carbonation. Nothing special about it.
The smell of it: Sweet grain and some corn
The taste of it: Taste like a newspaper.
So overall would I recommend it ? NO ! Wanna have a cheap beer, go get a Pabst !
Would I buy it again ? Hell NO

355ml single can, I guess this is back from the dead, eh, boyos?
This beer pours a clear, pale golden yellow colour, with three fat fingers of puffy, loosely foamy, and weirdly creamy dirty white head, which leaves some hanging sudsy wingspan lace around the glass as it quickly abates.
It smells of slightly rank locker room floor, wherein some of a beer of this ilk has long been spilled, grainy corn grits, a touch of nail polish remover, and some earnest stale yeast. The taste is gnarly, unpleasant corn-heavy malt sweetness, a thankfully lifted gym sock stank, ethereal acetone, a laughable attempt at weedy, and well, just dead weedy hop bitterness, and a hint of drying alcohol.
The carbonation is light and fluffy in its pandering frothiness, the body a clammy morass of all things pithy, and medium weight for the 'style' - smooth, this ain't, more palate abuse than anything. It finishes dry, sure, yeah, whatever, you made your fucking point.
Bleh, glad I got the tick, I suppose, just to once again remind me how the other (way more than) half lives. Sigh - I remember when getting the 'dry' version of yer basic national lager was a sign of virility - now it just seems like it's going to prevent my insides from producing any more pitter-patter of little footsies. Or something like that.

Old Milwaukee Dry
"5.9% alc./vol. STRONG BEER"
473 ml can, coded "H2714 1236G"
$1.69 Canadian @ Intermarche 8160, 850 Rue St-Jean, Quebec, Qc
Old Milwaukee Dry is alive and well and living in Canada. Why? Who knows. Was this even brewed in the U.S.? If it was, I don't remember it.
What I can say is that at least this is a dry beer, it's nowhere near as sweet as Molson Dry. Unfortunately the flavor isn't much better. It's adjunct beer with a smudge of herbal hops and a moderate bitterness. There's not much to it, which makes it easy to drink, if you can get past the first few initially unpleasant sips. Where does that come from? I'm not sure, but I feel like the alcohol is lying just below the surface of a thin layer of malt-challenged maltiness and liquid hop extract. It's almost the ghost of a beer that once was.
Lacking. Not worth trying. Learn from my mistakes.

Got this one at the local LCB at a price i couldn't resist, they no longer carry it anymore,,,hmmm...wonder why.
Appearance is of lite water with some yellow food coloring thrown in,very pale with minimal white head that is gone in a flash, absolutely no lacing what so ever.
The nose is of fresh clean water with some cheap stale corn and old grass...all very faint...you got to take a very deep whiff.
Taste is like downing cold water with a metallic tin aftertaste that has some carbonation.Very easy to consume a case of this in no time,,guzzle this down like nothing....but man it goes right thru ya...Nothing to this beer, but for the price, and a hot day...i guess it'll do.

Presentation: Old Milwaukee Dry is brewed in Canada by Sleeman's Stroh's Canada branch. The can is similar to regular Old Milwaukee with a blue logo instead of the usual red one.
Appearance: Average is the word here. It is maybe a little too pale.
Smell: What smell? It is better to have no smell rather than a bad one, but this one has no smell at all.
Taste: No genuine taste. That's only some overcarbonated sugars. There's a weak metallic aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Carbonated and creamy.
Drinkability: It is only ok, if you want to buy in the low budget category (CAD 1.19 per can!). Otherwise, I will pass my turn and pay a few more cents for a regular priced beer.
