L- Black in ambient light. With a halogen lamp behind it it is a clear and super-deep ruby red. Pours with 3mm pale tan head, that becomes lacing after a few minutes.
S- Smokey, reminiscent of log cinders, plus coffee notes.
T- Follows the Smell, prominent timber log cinders and coffee.
F- Some pungency and with a dryer note in the finish.
O- Very nice indeed, well balanced depths led to a lovely deep, trad porter brew.
