This double IPA is bigger in every way but still retains a dry finish that hides its strength. Massive fruit aromas and flavours combined with hazy golden looks and chewy body really do make this beer a stone fruit pulp fest!

440ml can.
L: Opaque, bright orange, clumps of floating yeast, one finger of long-lasting white head.
S: Orange boiled sweets quickly gives way to cabbage.
T: Citrus and tropical fruit with a herbal/spring onion edge. Bitterness becomes moderate.
F: Medium body, slightly harsh mouthfeel and a tad gassy which, when it comes back, has alcohol heat.
O: A DNEIPA. Not bad, not great. Would prefer more presence for 8%.

Almost 3 months old unfortunately. Mostly refrigerated I believe though.
Pours a hazy orange, just hazy enough to a neipa.
Smell is orange, slight sweetness. Pretty standard.
Taste is the same with some resin. Quite dry
Feel is a bit thin for the style. Not much there.
Motenold school nedipa. Good.

440ml can from Curious Liquids (£6):
Bright, hazy golden with yellow tinges & a thick, frothy white head that holds great. Mango & pineapple open the nose, it's dank but slightly subdued initially with pine & grapefruit notes with a little papaya towards the middle then citrus to close. The taste is quite juicy with more mango, pineapple, pine hops & touches of citrus further on, it's slightly stronger than the nose overall & there's a lingering hop bitterness too. It's quite a thick, full bodied one with a sticky feel from the hops, medium carbonation & a bitterness that goes on & on at the end.

Shared 440 ml can. Moderately hazy pale golden colour, white head. Nice hoppy aroma, citrus, pine and spruce. Grapefruit, pine and spruce in the flavour, fairly bitter.

A 440ml can, canned on 1st November 2018, and poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A cloudy hazy orange colour with a two finger white head that had decent retention, while leaving some lacing.
Aroma: Fruity, tropical, mango, peach with light citrus rind and orange peel.
Taste: Mango, apricot, melon, orange peel and zest, grass, dank with a touch of booze on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Creamy, medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Great aroma, and I think taste started off well enough, but the finish which was a bit grassy with a touch of booze just seemed to lose all the nice fruitiness that was there at the beginning.

Pours a medium amber coloration with a medium, foamy head. Smell is quite hoppy, with notes of citrus and tropical fruit: grapefruit, passion fruit, and a hint of grassy dankness and bubble gum. Taste is quite hop-forward, but balanced nicely against some light, bready, caramel malt. Notes of grapefruit, tangerine, passion fruit and mango, with a certain grassy, dank character. There's also slightly boozy bubble gum note to this. Finishes quite dank, with a light/medium bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, with a medium body and carbonation.
This is a really nice DIPA with a good balance of citrus, tropical and "green" notes, but just a tad boozy, plus I could do without that slight bubble gum note.

CAN
Hazy soft tangerine with steady, webby snow cream. 4
Mashed papaya, specks of dank, and lime zest. 4
Cream of wheat, tangerine juice, lemon curd, apricot, honeydew, slight kronik + mint. 4
Long ringing linger.
Halfway to medium, soft, round, oily. 4.25
Citra, Ekuanot, Galaxy, Columbus.
June 9th canning - one day shy of 7 weeks old. This could run a couple of different ways with that hop bill, what we get is yellow plum more than anything else, and super creamy body - there must be a ton of wheat in here. Rather than juice, the tropical fruit is more fleshy - pulp, like the name says - to the point of almost being buttery; picture a peach cobbler. This softness makes me think it’s peachy Galaxy doing the heavy lifting here; definitely no Ekaunot green pepper. All this makes for a nice shift in gears (intended, too; label says “stone fruit pulp fest”) and a drinkable one at that. But it doesn’t blow me away nor is it particularly layered.
I want to fall in love with Verdant, but they’re just not Cloudwater or Lervig. 4

16oz. can served in my Spiegelau IPA glass. Canned 6/2/17; best before end of September 2017. Pours a dull burnt orange with a tight, one inch, cream-colored head. Clarity is slightly hazy. Nose expresses juicy aromas, a hint of herbal/medicinal notes and a candied quality. Taste consistent with nose with a slightly medicinal finish that lingers between quaffs. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with a slight oiliness to the texture and an assertive carbonation. Overall, solid but nothing really stands out.

Really hazy golden color with creamy, off-white head. Aroma has extremely dank hops with intense chives, dill and onion. Taste follows with chives, continues with an astringent citrus note, intense green hop flavors throughout. Full bodied, really smooth and creamy on the palate. Really nice NE style IPA with a very dank and oniony hop profile.
