Citra here, citra there, citra everybloodywhere! You get the picture. One of our most cherished beers and for good reason, soft and luscious wallops of mango, apricot and a melange of citric based fruits with a little sweaty goodness to keep things 'real'.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettutikken. ABV is 8.0%. Cloudy yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruits, hints of pine and spruce. Excellent flavour of said fruits, not too sweet, distinct notes of pine and spruce, good bitterness. Might well buy again.

3 months old. Can to wine glass.
L: Pours a full and hazy light yellow with a fluffy white head that leaves a bit of lacing. No floaters.
S: Fresh citrus fruits, mainly lemon. Hints of lime, grapefruit and orange, too. Rather acidic than sweet.
T: Candied grapefruit and lemon paired with some grassy notes, white grapes and hints of strawberries. Sweet, bitter, zesty and tart.
F: Full and creamy. Medium carbonation.
O: Even though this one‘s by far not as hyped as Putty or Allen, I found it superior to both of them. It’s a great showcase of the Citra hop variety and definitely one of the best British IPAs I‘ve had so far (if not the best). Aside from that, it’s a spectacular example of how beautifully IPAs can age if done right.

CAN
Milky gold with creamy legs; Mary Jane and tropical nose opens into grapefruit peel; Lemonhedz, a thread of weedy grass, specks of honeydew + donut peaches, dried pineapple and dank end; super luscious.

Citra
1 month in can. Right from the start this has the kind of layered nose I usually only get out of NYC + Mass. Taste delivers, too, with pretty much every aspect of Citra, straying over into some character I’d normally associate with Idaho 7. And the body is as cotton ball as you could ask for. 8% goes down way too easy.
I’m not gonna say Verdant is a world class NEIPA brewery, but I’d happily put it up against the likes of Barrier or Threes.

Really hazy yellow color, looks like pudding. Aroma has intense dank hops, herbal notes, melon. Taste starts sweetish, dank, juicy, milky yeast, a hint of fruit tartness. Medium plus body with medium carbonation. A really nice, juicy NE style DIPA.

The first one I try from these guys and my oh my...
Poured from a pint yellow can
Very hazy pale yellow with a nice white head. Is it pineapple smoothie or a beer?
Mango, passion fruit, papaya, guava, bubblegum, apple, peach, a real fruit bowl!
The taste is perfectly balance with a dank fruitiness with tropical fruits, citrus and berries, some floral notes are present too. Very bold but never bitter. Some bread dough character. Hopped to the max just in balance on a thin line like smooth jazz.
The mouthfeel is perfect for the style and enhances the flavours wonderfuly. Smooth and juicy with a thin carbonation.
This beer shows how Citra can be wonderful. The cereal bill is also great and the yeast does the job perfectly.
This is a nearly perfect NE dipa.
The only bad part is my glass already empty.
Keep it up guys!
